Where can I get more information about MACD Education Programs?

One of MACD’s largest efforts is helping CD’s educate Montana’s citizens about the wise use and protection of Montana’s natural resources, and the role of CDs in that endeavor.

MACD stands ready to assist in the promotion, and in some instances the actual execution, of events like the Montana Envirothon, Youth Range Camp, Natural Resources Youth Camp, and other workshops put on by local CDs, the DNRC and others.

MACD offers two $500 scholarships to Montana students wishing to further their educations. Applicants are judged on grade point average, letters of recommendation, and an original essay. Click here for MACD Scholarship Application.

MACD recently purchased, through a grant from the Bureau of Reclamation, mobile stream tables that are available for district use. These easy to operate learning tools demonstrate stream dynamics in a variety of settings.  Click here to request more information about this program.
